Bracken Woman is a delightful green floral creation, luminous and carefree. Designed by creative director Christopher Chong, Bracken Woman is inspired by the light, heady pleasures of the Summer of Love and is an olfactory tribute to nature and the hippie, bohemian spirit of the 1960s. Recalling those halcyon days of freedom, mysticism, peace, and love, Bracken Woman unfolds through the pungent green notes of galbanum and violet leaf contained in the fern accord, which combine with the full, fruity accents of wild berries, before opening to a sensual heart of lily, narcissus, chamomile, and leather. In an intoxicating finish, the intriguing woody and smoky base blends with patchouli, vetiver, and birch to playfully recreate the carefree spirit of summer days, woodlands, and starry nights.
